Introducing the new MANTIS Series 1.33X Full Frame Anamorphic Lenses, crafted to deliver a 2X cinematic look with a perfect balance of artistry and precision.

1.33X SQUEEZE – 2X LOOK

Oval Aperture, Compact , Classic Barrel Distortion

2X LOOK

With a 1.33x squeeze, the Mantis are optimized for a wide range of sensor formats. Blazar’s innovative design delivers the rich visual character of a 2x anamorphic image. Expect cinematic depth, enhanced composition, and signature oval bokeh in every shot.

OVAL APERTURE

Equipped with a consistent oval-shaped aperture, the Mantis lens is designed to replicate the timeless aesthetics of a 2x anamorphic image, providing oval-shaped bokeh, enhanced depth, and cinematic character while utilizing a more accessible 1.33x squeeze.

Amber Flare

The Mantis lens produces a distinctive flare colour that falls between neutral and amber, striking a perfect balance that enhances the image with a warm, cinematic glow. This carefully tuned flare adds character without overpowering the frame, giving scenes a subtle golden warmth that evokes emotion and elevates the overall visual tone.

COMPACT

Weighing just around 760g (1.67 lb), the Mantis are perfect for solo creators and run-and-gun shooting, offering cinematic visuals in a portable, easy-to-use design.

1.25ft/0.38m Close Focus

Mantis lenses feature an impressive close focus capability, starting from just 1.25 feet (0.38 meters), allowing you to get up close without sacrificing that signature anamorphic character.
